Centre Malaika

We are proud to support Centre Malaika Marrakech, an organisation dedicated to providing education, development, and social inclusion for children with Down syndrome. Over the next three years, EFAM is funding the education and development of 45 girls with Down syndrome, ensuring they have the resources, support, and opportunities they need to thrive in both academic and social settings.

About Centre Malaika

Founded in 2011, Centre Malaika aims to support children with Down syndrome from early childhood to adulthood, ensuring they receive the education, therapy, and vocational training necessary to integrate into society and the workforce. The centre’s approach includes:

  • Specialist education tailored to each child's learning capacity, including reading, writing, and mathematics.
  • Therapeutic interventions from a team of physiotherapists and therapists, providing individualised support
  • Vocational training opportunities to equip students with real-world skills for future employment

By partnering with Centre Malaika, EFAM is taking another significant step toward inclusivity, ensuring that every girl, regardless of ability, has the opportunity to learn, grow, and reach her full potential.
